Baked Mashed ’ Taters With Garlic And ’maters And Stuff Recipe

Ingredients

  • 7 large potatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped fine
  • 1 large tomato, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 1/4 lb butter ( 1 stick), softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • salt
  • fresh ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Bake the potatoes to done, when cool enough gut them into a large bowl
  2. To that add garlic, butter, sour cream, onion
  3. Mash and mix very well, I use my stand mixer
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Pepper to taste
  6. Taste the mix and make sure you like it… if ’taters are too thick you can add a bit of milk. Add salt and pepper as you see fit.
  7. Now…..
  8. Oil up a 9x13 baking dish with some Olive Oil
  9. Add Mashed ’ Taters and smooth out
  10. Cover with Mozzarella Cheese
  11. Cover again with sliced Tomato
  12. Slide this all into a 350 degree pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and tomatoes are starting to brown .
  13. No rules here…. add or subtract as you wish. I like it just like this!!! Enjoy.
