Baked Mashed ’ Taters With Garlic And ’maters And Stuff Recipe
Ingredients
- 7 large potatoes
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped fine
- 1 large tomato, sliced thin
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 1/4 lb butter ( 1 stick), softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- salt
- fresh ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- Olive Oil
Instructions
- Bake the potatoes to done, when cool enough gut them into a large bowl
- To that add garlic, butter, sour cream, onion
- Mash and mix very well, I use my stand mixer
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Taste the mix and make sure you like it… if ’taters are too thick you can add a bit of milk. Add salt and pepper as you see fit.
- Now…..
- Oil up a 9x13 baking dish with some Olive Oil
- Add Mashed ’ Taters and smooth out
- Cover with Mozzarella Cheese
- Cover again with sliced Tomato
- Slide this all into a 350 degree pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and tomatoes are starting to brown .
